Avatars and Bios!

Hey everyone! If you want to add an avatar and a bio to your profile, do the following:

1. Log in
2. Click Control Center
3. Click Settings
4. Scroll down to the second set of fields and upload an avatar (it has to be really eensy small).
5. Add your bio.
6. Click save.

It's super easy.

Normundy Headband Project!

ScarlettHeadband, one of our earliest members, emailed me a while back with the idea of creating a "Headband Across America". Today, I received the first section and it's lovely!

I am going to add the next section. My mom always thought it was important that her sons learned all domestic skills and at times like this, I'm so grateful. Once it is done, I will send it to the next person in the chain and so on. We hope to have the largest headband in recorded history ready to present to Normund at the AI Finale, if we can get tickets. Otherwise, we'll just wait until he sings at a mall near us. He's going plotz!

So please volunteer for your turn on the chain. And NOBODY better try to keep the headband for themselves or we will cast you from the fandom!

We are famous, baby

Hi - I'm Sir Eton Hogg, financier and manager of this site. I'm not the most technically proficient person but I know what sells. I've been friends with Marty Culp for a while and he's the most computer savvy person I've ever known. He helped me set up a blogspot blog and showed me how you can forward email. He's really quite the guru.

I've been following marketing trends here and thought I would share with you some of the wins.

First - I'm excited to share that we are currently number 3 on google when searching for Normund Gentle. That proves our absolute popularity on the internet. Our fame can only grow from here.

We Are Family!

You guys! There has been some tension here in the past week and I'm not going to name names or point out those people who are bringing us ALL down, but I know we'd all appreciate a little less hating and a little more love.

In the spirit of unity, I wanted to invite everyone to suggest names for our group! I thought it would be fun to call ourselves something catchy like The Head Band Brigade or Normund's Nancy Boys. Let's all put on our thinking caps and suggest some fun sparkly names! Then we can have a poll to decide what we'll be called!

So let's hear your great ideas!!

Normundy answers reader email!

Slim - thanks for your letter. I feel it is important to say though that we are not Normund, nor are we affiliated with Normund. We don't want to be getting any "cease and desist" letters, now do we? Furthermore, we have no idea how you could possibly contact Normund. So please stop writing us. And that goes for you too, Henry Jekyll. But keep reading and commenting the blog!

Geraldine - don't you watch the show? Go back and rewatch the episode where Jamar is eliminated and you will see that Normund didn't take Jamar's place. Danny Gokey did! In fact, Normund didn't have a sing off with anybody, so clearly he didn't take anyone else's place. You better get used to the fact that Normund is the stealth TCO.

Chris, or should I say NICK - nice try. Normund has let Nick try for YEARS to break into the biz - with no success I might add. And now that Normund is starting to be recognized for his genius, Nick is obviously trying to hone in on his success. It's pretty desperate if you ask me. Nick should be more supportive.

Aladin - Thank you. You're absolutely right - we are made of love. And when Normund recognizes us for all we do to support him, the meet and greets are sure to flow. You won't get one though because we have no idea who you are. But you might try hanging out by the busses during the tour.

We had about 500 other emails in our inbox but those were the first 4. We'll get to the rest when we find the time. I see one promising me to be debt free in 30 days! I can't wait to see what that one is about. Thanks for taking the time to write to us!

A Gift for Normund?

OK guys - Normund is performing next week so we don't have much time and we NEED to send him a gift from Normundy so that he knows he's loved and so that he will recognize us as his bestest fans ever. And maybe we'll get a shout out and see our gift on the American Idol stage too!! And then he'll probably come here and post and stuff! I bet nobody ever thought to send their favorite idol something!

It's imperative that we have to get him a gift that he will LOVE. My first idea was to get him a diamond-studded headband with his name on it, but I shopped around and found they run around $30,000. I'm sure we could raise that much if we had 2 more weeks, but time is of the essence and we want to get this off to him immediately.

So, I hope you all don't mind, but I took the liberty of having this special one of a kind diamond-dusted (it looks just like glitter, guys!) headband made for Normund:

It runs just over $500 and I just KNOW you can all come up with that and send it to us at our paypal account, right? I'm so excited to see Normund wear this on stage on Tuesday!

If any of you would like one of your own, you can send an additional $500 to our paypal account and we'll have more of them made! We can all be just like Normund!

I guess I better go set up that paypal account, right guys?
